Janey Mary is played by young actress Kelsey Enright who auditioned from several hundred other actors of her age. At four years old Kelsey gave Janey an innocence that only a girl her age can. Kelsey has a unique quality, she had a certain look and vulnerability about her which was some of the traits required to play Janey.
This is Kelsey's first film role and is a natural. The film's smooth shoot can be attributed to her very ability to take direction well and deliver a performace to weep for.
Kelsey attends "Scoil Ide" Primary School in Clondalkin and her teacher is Ms Roche. Kelsey is also a member of Talented Kids Performing Arts School and Agency where she studies Dance, Singing, Drama and Musical Theatre every Friday in Clondalkin.
"We are very proud of Kelsey's achievement. She really is a Talented Kid! Kelsey is able to follow direction so well. She is also great at improvising. Her memory is like that of a child much older…she retains a lot for a 4 year old. She is a Star now ….and she will definitely stay shining in the spotlight! She is professional through and through!"
- Maureen Ward - Agent & acting coach.
Kelsey is managed by Maureen Ward of the Talented Kids Performing Arts School.
