Éanán Patterson was born in Dublin, Ireland and moved to the United States at the age of ten. He is a graduate of the Juilliard School of Music (pre-college) where he majored in violin and piano and a graduate of Fordham University, New York.

In 2003 Eanan completed a Recording Arts degree in Music Engineering & Production at Full Sail College in Orlando, Florida. Éanán has performed in major concert venues including Carnegie Hall, Radio City Music Hall, New York, Boston Symphony Hall and the National Concert Hall, Dublin.

When Éanán was asked to write the original score for Janey Mary he reached deep and composed some of the best work he's ever written. Working very closely with director
Paul Brady he composed the heart rending theme for Janey Mary. It was a theme that conveyed loneliness, sadness and ultimately hope. For the many characters and themes in the story he composed themes that wrapped around Janey's theme complimenting the overall work. What was completed is nothing short of a masterpiece engaging the emotion and drawing you into Janey's world.

Currently he spends his time between Ireland and the United States composing & producing music for television, film and a wide variety of recording artists. Éanán is the son of the late tenor Frank Patterson.
