Paul Brady - Writer/ Producer/ Director. Pauls original background is in music. He has played and studied
classical piano since the age of 7 going on to teach it in later years. He was equally gifted in the areas of art & design and after college pursued a career in film.
He started in the film world as a conceptual designer/ storyboard artist working for
Mel Gibson's
Icon Productions in LA back in 1998. Paul worked steadily in design over the next few years until he made the leap into directing in 2001. His first film was a short film called Rememberances of Marie and then later on Sniper Story. Both dramatic films
about the human spirit.
It wasn't until 2004 that Paul found a story he was really passionate about. The story is Janey Mary. Paul has optioned the film rights from the estate
of James Plunkett, and has dedicated the past three years to the scripting, researching, casting, and pre-production design and location work required to
bring Janey Mary to life in vibrant detail and complete historical authenticity.
Paul is currently developing a career in commercials whilst working on several feature film projects, one of them is a feature version of Janey Mary.
